From the final paragraph above: "Jokura wants to study further how the jellies' nervous systems mesh following fusion. "I would like to investigate how their 'thoughts' are integrated,".
"By visualizing neural networks, we might be able to explore something like the fusion of consciousness."

I'll never forget Sikh Volunteers from Melbourne coming up to the Evacuation Centre in Lismore March 2022 after the Feb 28 flood. The weather was appalling but they brought delicious curries for everyone who wanted one 💖

Yes Maigret for me is very much about both the sense of place and time.. I'm not familiar with Braquo or Engrenages and unlikely to become so as neither seems to be available in my area of rural NSW Australia at the moment but if this new TV Maigret is not a success the books will still remain 🤞

I must admit I wasn't thrilled at the idea of Rowan Atkinson taking on the role - until I watched and enjoyed his version.
I will therefore reserve judgement until this comes out. "Sherlock" managed to bring Conan Doyle to a new audience and hopefully this will bring new readers to Simenon.
