Back in the late 70s, Marvel proudly proclaimed their characters were a TV sensation via shitty shows like The Amazing Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk (adjectives part of the title). Nowadays they’d probably need to do that for literally every title, one way or another. Maybe it was better then.

Was out in the car and saw some bongo drums which have been middle class fly tipped. “Look, bongo drums!” I said excitedly. “You can’t call them that now.” Advised teenage offspring. Everything is so woke these days.

Have been sucked into EastEnders this week what with the 40th anniversary and live episode airing now. #EELive. I REALLY hope they break the fourth wall with Denise choosing her bloke, with her looking at the character and asking “What would YOU do?” Otherwise, what’s the point?

Serious post… Somehow, there’s a butterfly in the loft / office. Surely way too early for this sort of thing…? If I open the window to let it out, presumably it will die in the cold. Any advice on what I should do?

Started watching the new season of Yellowjackets earlier and was thinking ‘They’re really milking that plane crash, showing all that again’… After about 10 minutes, realised Paramount+ had defaulted to season one, episode two. It was soooo funny.
