These superb owls… The first one is Scooby, he’s a great horned owl. The European barn owl is Percy and his feathers look like a perfectly toasted marshmallow. They belong to my lovely friends at Flight of the Raptor.

I have neuropathy in my feet and the shoes I wear for it has very thick soles and rounded toes. They give me an extra inch in height, without the orthotic insoles. With those, I get another half to three-quarters of an inch. But you know, he has BoNe SpUrS, so he probably has even thicker insoles!

My husband had a stroke when he was 28 years old (he's 58 now) and he doesn't lean at all. He's paralyzed on his right side and walks with a limp, but he doesn't lean like that. His stroke also didn't turn him into a racist narcissist either.

It's called "We're Here!" & there's a theme chosen daily & we "invade" the group (respectfully & within the rules of their theme/topic). You don't have to play daily, just whenever you want to, for fun. www.flickr.com/groups/herei...

Because OFMD is a beautiful place with beautiful people. And we can all use more beauty in our lives.

My husband is a disabled veteran. Because he's 100% service-connected, I also get health benefits. The thought of him losing any of the hard-fought benefits he has terrifies me. I don't tell him how much it scares me, he doesn't need that. I don't understand how ANY vet could vote for Trump.

We had a class in high school called Graphic Printing (1986) & all we did was learn how to silk screen. It was the perfect class for me & my then-boyfriend. I was the artsy kid and he was the car mechanic kid with all the technical ability. We only did mono-color, nothing nearly as cool as this!

Me: "Hey, you wanna hear what Trump had to say about Christmas?" Husband: "Whatever it is, it's probably stupid." After I read it to him: "What in the fuck was that?"

Oh, that's good. I posted this right after I got the email, so I assumed it was a scheduled email from the VA and nobody stopped it.

Last night, we had THOUSANDS just fluttering from the sky. They're still covering the trees and yard this morning. I had to clear them off my windshield before I could drive away!

You also need a specialist to deal with any issues, because most of them are blind. From what I've heard, I mean. I don't have one in my backyard pond or anything.

Oh, then I'm ahead of schedule! I got these on Monday of this week.

My husband had a stroke when he was 28. It was eventually labeled as service-connected because of the chemical exposure in Desert Shield/Storm. It took us over a year to get him into the VA system & almost another 2 to get him to 100% service-connected status. Paralyzed on right side, has aphasia.

I'm the mom of a scientist. So... that means absolutely nothing. (but seriously, my oldest daughter is a scientist).

Once, I saw a roadside attraction that claimed to have one on display. But you could tell it was a cran-apple hybrid.
