I believe the same thing is happening to leadership in the ranks of wildland firefighters for both the Interior Department and the USFS.

Just looked at the picture again. He is really bundled up and wearing bulky clothes for being indoors. Especially compared to the deputy sitting next to him. Wouldn't be surprised if he was hiding some sort of protective vest.

If steve is "providing context", that means he's lying. We all know that. I've told his staffers, and sheehy's, that the last MT senator with the guts to have a live, unvetted town hall meeting was Jon Tester, and that by comparison, they were gutless cowards. Crickets were the replies.

What a sad betrayal of our allies.

It feels like we've gone from "Leader of the Free World" to newest member nation of the "Axis of Evil" countries.

In my 34 years of wildland fire, a lot of the toughest and smartest firefighters were female. With a growing shortage of wildland firefighters due to pay, living conditions, etc; this is only going to make things worse.

I rarely checked it before the Elongated Muskrat started pillaging and plundering our government. Now I check it about once a week, just to see if I can still access my account. Later today I'll try OPM to check my civil service pension account. So far they're still showing up in the bank.

3/3 Guess what the staffers at the offices of Zinke, Daines and Sheehy are going to here about tomorrow morning. I might as well start their week out on the wrong foot.

2/3 It'll be interesting to see how that works now that president musk has deleted the agency that manages it. I was able to use it this morning, but I have no idea how long that will last. www.msn.com/en-us/money/...

Agree. I think it's going to be a waste of time to listen.

Yep, and I'll bet Sheehy won't be any different.

Well played, great job!

Thanks to all of you for showing up.

I've been messaging the entire committees through this website. I click on the "Public Participation Application" button, which opens the second tab that lets you select either a legislator or some or all members of a specific committee. www.legmt.gov/participate/

Message sent. I'm lucky that the district I live in is represented by Senator Cora Neumann.

They also have to know that they're also cowards. Just in case they don't I use that word and "traitor" when I talk to staffers at the offices of Daines, Sheehy, and Zinke.

3/3 I told him the only MT politician in the last decade with enough courage to have an unscripted, face-to-face town hall meeting was Jon Tester. I also told him that I hoped that Zinke was a better SEAL than he is a representative, and hopefully he wasn't as big of a coward then as he is now.

2/3 I told the staffer that wasn't a town hall, it was a carefully scripted radio propaganda show that would only allow ideology that was acceptable to Aaron Flint, who used to be a comms staff for Zinke.

Of course he'll try. Steve doesn't care about anyone except himself.

In light of the last few weeks of the Donnie and Doge show, it's hard to believe that this was not intentional.

Any bill co-sponsored by people like Shane Klakken, Caleb Hinkle and Greg Hertz, among others, is not a good bill. Thanks for letting us know about this. I will be contacting committees and individual legislators. And if it gets that far, I will campaign against it if it shows up on a ballot.

This is terrifying.

Yes, it is.

Elon and Felon are heartless monsters. I'm sorry for your son-in-law.

Maybe this will be the subject of my email tomorrow to the US House DOGE caucus. They're looking for waste and fraud. [email protected]

Neat old truck. Great picture. Thanks for sharing!

My wife and I each call Zinke, Daines and Sheehy's offices every day. Interesting that the guy who campaigned as an "American Warrior" would shut down the MSO office because of "threats".

Wish I had tome to come over for that. Apparently he shut down his BZN office and is looking for another location. Seems like one would find a new location before shutting down the first one. I may have asked a DC staffer yesterday if Ryan and his staff were going into hiding.

And then tell him this is how to start a chainsaw.

It's because they really couldn't care less. It's the ONLY thing they seem to be honest about.

I'm working on getting a lot of snow off of our roof so that if it does rain, there isn't that sudden increase in weight.
