It was a thrill finding these in my local newsagent, I got them all, loved most of them and still go back and read them every few years or so.

I disagree. It is the media who are intolerant and keen to whip up "interest". The public are curious, but don't really care one way or the other.
What the public doesn't want is someone telling us that x, y or z is wrong while they are doing x, y or z.

Cold pizza and coffee sounds pretty good, hot pizza would be better.

Your point is valid.
But this has come from a memoir rather than journalistic muck raking.
While I agree that what consenting adults do behind closed doors is their own business, it does become public interest if their private lives are at odds with their political pronouncements.

There is a story that Vincent mcmahon, ex boss of the wwe, did the same. I wonder if it is an old man getting too excited and losing all control type thing. (Asking for a friend).

Of course they won't, unless it is to blame each other.

The daily star is an odd paper, often has the best cover/headline but the insides are just pants. There is room for a "serious " satirical daily but no...
Still we have private eye, even if it is just fortnightly.

I wish I knew the answer, it would help stop reform, gb news and their ilk.

At least he is honest, which is more than be said for the prez and his appointees.
Just as long as the own the shit when the shit show starts showing results.

The whole of kirby back on cap was a rush. And a major step change from the Frank Robbins stuff before it (which I was meh at the time, but have since embraced his style - odd as I loved the invaders from the get go)

Another of those comics that I loved as a teen.

Unfortunately there seems to be a large number who agree with bev. Had two people at work tell me trump is telling the truth.....

Another of those great costumes, and a character I haven't read in years.

I so loved that series, until then I was a B5 is the bees knees of SF TV. The BSG came along, I sneered (never much a fan of the original) But then I was given some tapes first series episodes and wow.
Still the gold standard.

I am not sure one follows the other.
One requires state money.
The other should be paid for by private companies who run airline companies.

Labour need to do this more often. Every time they are accused or blamed they should be naming and shaming opposition politicians and right wing commentators who are responsible for failed policies and dis/misinformation.
No need to play nice because no one is going to give them a fair shake.

Regardless of the provenance I can't work out if it is supposed to be irony or satire, or just a blatant admission that trump/musk are prepared to crush those that criticise them.
You know all in the name free speech absolutism

And just to take him at his word that he was saved by the big fella, what does it say about the rest of us that an omnipotent and omniscient being finds trump is best man for the job.....

Great movies - though didn't expect them to be as prophetic.

While I think the colour coordination fad is madness, I can't say my pile it up high, put it anywhere there is a space on any surface filing system is any better.
My old boss used to come into my office to reorganise my cd collection because he was offended by the way I just shelved them.

Tell that to the people who have created the work you have pirated.

Not sure it makes piracy "important" it does make it inevitable.

I feel exactly the same way about "mighty world of marvel #1" and the many issues that followed. My love of comics cemented by a weekly hit of marvel.

Mate of mine has just shed a large amount of weight. He was put on a shake diet for 12 weeks, followed by 12 weeks of portion control. Ask your doc if there is a similar programme you can go on.
Regardless: good luck with it.

I loved that period of wonder woman. Would make a great TV series.
