Thank you Bleu, much appreciated. It’s been a very hard day. I managed to connect with one of my daughters very briefly and then comms blacked out again until only some 30 mins ago

I don’t find your comments pedantic at all - they are insightful and knowledgeable and I am very thankful for them. I’d love to see some of your works if you ever are up to posting. As for the state of contemporary art, well - excesses are trimmed away by time, leaving only those that endure….

Oh I agree - the installation element has always been there - cathedrals are a good example of that! I mean installations in the context of contemporary art - blurred lines between painting, sculptures, audiovisual and performances, between permanent and transient….

Interesting connection! For some reason her works remind me of a modern take on altarpieces! I see this work as an example of the evolution of art at that point in time - when a ā€œsculptureā€ is no longer so and becomes an ā€œinstallationā€. I see this as an evolving step towards a new art form

She is at the Museo Aqueologico Nacional in Madrid, next to Plaza de Colón. Well worth a morning! Seen her a couple of times - I find she has a magnetic aura similar to Nefertiti’s

Thank you but I love my old wood bench exactly as it is. We’ve both grown gray together and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

By forcing the Vatican and him to exert himself and meet, I actually do believe Vance has directly contributed to his final health crisis and death

He was all but forced to meet Vance yesterday, in the typical bullying and arrogant ways of this disgraceful US administration
