It would not go down well in the Netherlands if NS did something similar. (I would love to see that though.😁)
NMBS/SNCB also regularly run really funny campaigns about consideration for others, but those are a lot less direct. (And a lot more creative, sometimes bordering on the absurd.)

That's slightly nonsensical. Both regimes could easily have collapsed in other ways later on, had they not been brought down by external forces.

Not necessarily. I don't think it is always feasible to replace (large) bridges at the same time. I am afraid that doing this would slow down the rest of the renovations considerably. (I am thinking of the Friesenbrücke as an example: replacing it is taking about ten years.)

Persoonlijk deed ik, ook al voordat Musk de zaak overnam, nog maar weinig met Twitter/X. De reden dat ik mijn account daar nu definitief heb verwijderd is vooral Musk. Ik heb geen enkele behoefte om aan zijn succes bij te dragen.

Als je je namelijk alleen op bepaalde leeftijdsgroepen richt, dan vallen er alsnog mensen door het raster.

Dit is niet alleen een probleem voor jongeren. Het doel zou moeten zijn voldoende betaalbare woningen voor iedereen, ongeacht leeftijd.
