I think it's sinking in for a lot of people across the country just how deep, how existential, our current crisis is—that the governing system we lived under is being destroyed, and that there's no reason for confidence that we're going to be able to stop it from happening in time.

With that fake-ass plate that said POLICE. It didn't look real at all. I know it was dark but that New Hope cop gave the killer the benefit of the doubt because he was a white man, obviously. He didn't answer him - how weird was that???

Also, checking NYT front page, it does not mention that the murdered Minnesota “politician” was a Democrat and that the shooter was a conservative Republican.
It’s as if the NYT is actively trying to hide the rise in extreme Republican political violence.
