I don’t get why we don’t just regard the use of AI in writing like steroids in sports. Whether it’s useful or effective is moot because the whole endeavor is only interesting and valuable as a human feat. Books and homers produced efficiently and inauthentically just aren’t cool so what’s the point?

This is legit a shot I would take as a kid in my driveway and pretend to be a fake superstar, except mine was from 12 feet and there was no defender and I'd usually miss
