Nice, too bad no one will be able to enjoy that view anymore, the park will most likely be shut down this summer, we just can't afford nice things anymore.

Here you go, on my local #hiking trail.

And I went up the other way, so hiked east from Snoqualmie Point park (exit 27) to Grand Prospect, never went to the ledge.

I stopped, had to get back to my car, but the trail looked well packed beyond that point.

All pretty easy hikes, some elevation. Lake 22 was really a nice place, probably one of the more beautiful places I have eaten lunch, we sat on a snow covered boulder on the side of the lake. Lots of people on the trail, check WTA for the hike. Great to do, as long as avalanche danger is low.

The first one with the flat lake covered in snow is Skyline Lake near Stevens Pass, WA. The other three with the rocks are at Lake 22, near Granite Falls, WA.

X dome looks to be the way to go. I bought one, super light, easy to set up and with the fly first pitch, it really is nice.

And that was packed snow on the last 1/2 mile of the trail and around the lake, the rest was clear.

It was packed snow. Spikes were nice, saw lots of people without slipping and falling.

Durston has a good FAQ tab for each pack. Not sure on weight, because I used an internal frame pack for anything above about 15 lbs and I try to keep my pack weight down as low as I can due to knees. I bought a new tent just for that reason (also Durston).
