I struggle with the community for the same reason. There is so much untreated trauma and personality dysfunction. I frequently see “if you don’t think, believe, act like I do, you are cancelled” which leads to tribalism and exclusion. It makes it hard to maintain long standing bonds with people.

I worked at a company where I was hired and laid off 3 weeks later. The CEO gets on a call and says, “I’m sorry everyone, I screwed up. This is my fault. Unfortunately the (redacted) family is going to feel this.”
