Not even five weeks since Trump took power. I really don't see how anyone can confidently declare the spectrum of where this might be going ends at some form of Orbán-style *competitive* authoritarianism rather than in more outrightly authoritarian forms of rule.

Those with major followings should all be pushing for strong political moves designed to stall and resist an unfolding coup d’État.
Moves such as collectively coaxing or shaming former presidents into unifying the resistance to the actions of a traitorous madman in the White House.
