The thing with Domi is where is more sheltered for him? Berube was running McMann-Domi-Robertson. I can't imagine anything softer than that. If Brad or Berube wants the bottom 6 to be defensively responsible he just doesn't fit anywhere

Never would have thought Marchand would leave Boston. Looking at how many pucks end up in the face of McCabe and Tanev I'm not sure we can promise that

Yeah not saying he's the 3rd pairing guy but him pushing someone down also solves the problem. Basically what I'm saying is anything that gets Benoit/Timmins out of the lineup would have been a win in my book (return dependent ofc)

please get this man out of my division :(

The Knies/McMann emergence gives me a little hope the scoring wont be entirely reliant on 3 or 4 guys. Knowing this team though they'll lose game 7 3-1

This at a minimum looks like proper realization from Brad that his D depth was bad. We'll see the return and any retention to judge if it's good but he at least seems to recognize what some of the issues were

That's what I thought but the MOU clears that up (about saving cap this season). It does seem like the 35+ label still has some use though as the other rules still apply to them

How does the medical team remain employed after that. Like that's the whole job is it not? That's wild

Yeah just read the MOU. My understanding is that 35+ still applies if you try to buy him out this summer though

Hadn't read the MOU part but that makes sense. My reading would be that he can be sent down for cap relief as he meets the conditions, but the 35+ nomenclature still applies for things like buyouts

A very troubling pattern seems to be developing with them and injured players. Not great that it's all their stars either

I can't unearth it so either I hallucinated it or maybe it got deleted for being inaccurate

Everywhere I look it says he signed it at 36 years of age so I think it must

Crazy for me to think about as someone who does not follow him much. I basically have blind faith he'll turn it around so if his value is that low I'd want to be all over it

There was a post yesterday I saw that Reaves doesn't actually clear money cause he's a 35+ contract (I'll try and find it again)

Time to start drawing up the Pettersson trade proposals

I also think JT is privately upset that this didn't get started until after he was forced to step down. He sees those polling numbers and thinks deep down he coulda eked out another minority if the timing was better

It was Dreger that floated it (so you can safely assume he's just carrying water for Armstrong)

For someone like a Carolina though that's a hypothetical confidence. If you're Boston or TB though it's got to feel like a given at this point

Why wouldn't you go all in? The read on their decline was that the endless depth that used to secure them Cups had disappeared and this deal gets 2 quality depth guys back, including one who was part of that previous era

DuckDuckGo is the only alternative I've used and I like it (and also you can add -ai to your google search to remove the AI shit from the results)

I'd imagine they aren't there yet on the new game. Some UI mods are what made 6 enjoyable for me so I'm hoping they eventually appear for 7

Does the xbox version allow mods? In Civ 6 I almost always used the better balanced starts mod

Would be 8th. The Sun's have a cap hit over 214 million this year! And they're currently outside the play-in

Pretty lukewarm. I'll probably check the scores and maybe watch the medal game

The Stanley Cap is much simpler. It's been my go to for cap stuff for awhile now
