Private equity is a cancer on society (brought to you by someone who liked to shop at New Seasons)

When I managed people, they had that. In Portland, as long as there was coverage, I also had rules for: First sunny day of the year 1 Mt Hood snow skiing-snowboarding day per year 1 whatever day if those didn't strike a chord.

I have plaster walls, so I have to hope the picture molding holds up. Will it? I don't know... It has so far...

Since I don't have full use of my transverse abdominal muscles and therefor cough less effectively, I'm considered high risk and have had two so shots far. They seem fairly... innocuous...

Sure, but how many of them have their name on a placard in Nakatomi Plaza? If anything, you should be higher ranked!

I mean, isn't that why people follow you? I mean, sure, soccer stuff, whatever, but insightful looks at local weather? That's what I need... If NWS Portland starts posting here, I can finally delete the other app.

Registration change website also acts as site to check voter registration.

I love my state. Oregon automatically registers you to vote when getting a state issued drivers license or ID. 100% vote by mail, a website to change voter party registration, and as of this year ballot just needs to be postmarked by day of voting. So easy to research and vote!

Glad you are getting by. I got a COVID shot, flu, and my first shingles shot all in one go on Monday. Had a fever that night (about 102), took an ibuprofen, and was fine other than a sore arm.

Monday I got this years COVID and flu shots in addition to my first Shingles shot. Happily, a single ibuprofen was enough to get me through the next day

It used to be I didn't really care about publishing houses, but about 5 years ago, I noticed that a lot of the series I like to read are published by Tor, so I started going to their presentations at cons and I've really enjoyed them.

What kind of sadistic jerk listens on a conference all without being muted?
