Have you ever heard of the man shaking the bars of the cage and not turning around to see the door is open behind him? Alan Watts great!

I am sorry to hear that. I have not read your book but am impressed with the seriousness and honesty of your commitment. I did research at Carter Library last summer on Jimmy Carter’s concept of peace when the Center was hosting human rights defenders. I hope the human rights voice remains firm.

I wish we had done some official truth and reconciliation measures about what went wrong early on in the War on Terror so that perpetual wars and ignoring international legal limits on wars did not become the status quo. I, too, remember that time and profoundly regret that fork in military policy.

Honestly, so much of what is going on is imagination killing, actually replacing the freedom of imagination with the distortion of delusion. Dolly has always fueled our imaginations.

I hope the leaders of the rest of the world have the courage to call this what it is, courage so lacking in the United States.

We are just submerged autumn leaves in connection to your snow-capped sky burst but very much at peace.
