Isn’t this the kind of thing that landed Rebecca Burke in jail in the US before she was deported back to England?

He looked right at her, a very purposeful snub. What’s his beef with her?

I give her the benefit of the doubt. She went there on state business and got ambushed. Then Trump praised her, knowing that it would hurt her popularity with the Dem base. But if I’m right, and that’s the case, she’s got to come out forcefully and angrily now and say so.

The chyron makes no sense. If the theater sells out, it sells out. The capacity doesn’t magically expand beyond that.

My guess is twofold: 1. It would open a Pandora’s box of detainees they’d get challenged on, and ultimately have to bring back. 2. The returning prisoners will have incredibly brutal stories of their incarceration, gaining public attention and sympathy. 3. They simply can’t admit they’re wrong.

It will take that long to manufacture “evidence” that fits his preconceived outcome.

He signed this post, which is unusual – signifying he actually wrote it (as opposed to other posts written by staff). Definitely a message to a select crowd of “friends”.

Not to mention that subhead is a mobius strip of confusing language and head-scratching logic .

That “fraud, waste, and abuse” line is driving me nuts. Can’t they at least switch up the order or something? Not only is it a false talking point, but they’ve repeated the phrase ad absurdum. It’s meaningless now.

Stupid, yes. But also possessing lazy intellect and zero imagination. The intellectual inertia of “Trump is good for business” needs a good whack, like the Fonz does to a jukebox. Maybe this week was their Fonzie whack. I sure as hell hope so.

And I’m honestly thinking he started wearing a hairpiece. He didn’t used to have enough hair to make that weird square shape on top of his head.

Absolutely dystopian.
Republicans have gone from “A thousand points of light” to “Let’s bring Foxconn to America” in the span of my lifetime.

Definitely not an unintended consequence. I think the intent is just create a new world order, true. But I think that new world order is meant to be centered around powerful people (Trump, Putin, a few billionaires) rather than countries.

Isn’t the “You“ supposed to be implied in that sentence? if not, it would be a lot cooler if they put it at the end, like it was 1925: “Fuck off, you! See?”
