Aktion T4 energy.

Assuming this post today is aimed at us. The Trump admin changed the rules to make it easier to replace career federal employees with political loyalists. If you’re not alarmed by Trump’s post, you should be. This isn’t about policy it’s about control. It’s “do as I say, or you’re replaced.”

It’s been a long week. Every day under this administration somehow feels worse than the last. We know how exhausting this fight can be, but don’t give up. Get some rest tonight. Tomorrow is another big day. Many of our coalition members spent today traveling to event sites around the country.

See you out there today! And remember, if you see something, say something. If you catch video of any incidents, please email it to [email protected]. Our team, working alongside local law enforcement, has already helped lead to 18 arrests. Stay safe, have fun, and go make some good trouble today!

Early this morning, the Supreme Court temporarily blocked the deportation of Venezuelan men detained under the Alien Enemies Act Join Jen LIVE at noon with @stevevladeck.bsky.social as they discuss this major victory for democracy and due process.

Today marks the 250th anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord, which began the American Revolution. Our nation was founded on resistance to arbitrary authority and monarchical power. We built a democracy in the face of impossible odds. We must continue to protect it.

This is just the beginning. They will not stop.

If you so much as look like you might be a migrant, your rights are subject to the whims of ICE and the courts now. Be careful out there. Have people ready on speed dial who can help.

I’ve been told by a number of people that they found this episode helpful. Grateful to everyone who’s checked it out and shared their thoughts. ❤️

We’ll have estimates later today, but small towns are really showing up. You can tell, it’s catching local media off guard. Reporters are like, “Wow, we didn’t expect this kind of turnout here.” As for the comments on those stories, ignore the usual MAGA noise.

Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops. I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III. Remind you of anyone?

"We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." —Louis Brandeis

The turnout in small towns across the country has been incredible drawing crowds of thousands. We’re already seeing over one million in attendance nationwide, and events are still underway. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Ohio all had especially surprising showings.

Today, all of you helped shift the narrative. You can see it clearly in the wave of MAGA comments trying to drown us out, they’re rattled. Small towns across the Heartland drawing record-breaking crowds? That’s not something we’ve seen before.

Communities are organizing ICE patrols using radios and megaphones—but what we really need is an ICE alert website where people can share details of ICE activity in real time to help protect and inform one another.

Careful, Donald — courage is contagious.

"In a lawsuit backed by anti-transgender activist J.K. Rowling, the United Kingdom Supreme Court has ruled that the legal definition of “woman” under the 2010 Equality Act refers exclusively to the sex a person is assigned at birth."

We must make our stand here.

Screw the rule of law - Cartoon by @andertoon.bsky.social

For years, Trump has attacked our election security—most infamously on Jan 6 (and nearly every day since). Now, his team is slashing funding for the very agencies that protect against election cyberattacks. Pamela Smith warns: Our democracy only works when our elections work.

Never forget.

The fundamental choice has not been as stark since World War II: democracy and freedom, or dictatorship and tyranny. Trump and his sycophants are siding with the latter. The rest of us must loudly, proudly, and boldly proclaim our allegiance to the former.

I’m tired of @msnbc.com anchors perpetuating the message that Dems aren’t doing the work or that it’s not possible to find what they’re doing. I think I need to be interviewed but the only way that’s gonna happen is if they are aware of me. If you think I should be on their shows let them know!

A/P [Apr 12] -- The small mild measles outbreak in TX is no longer small, mild, or just TX. It's nNow 700+ kids, 5 states and 3 deaths. With no coordinated fed. response sadly we're prbly looking at two dozen states, 1000s of cases, and scores of deaths. :-{ @rikiwilchins.bsky.social

Crosswalks across Silicon Valley were hacked this weekend. Pressing the button now triggers a message impersonating Elon Musk—mocking him in the process. Videos have been circulating online all weekend. 😂

This is the email @kenmartin.bsky.social and @democrats.org sent out 7 hours ago. If you unsubscribed to the DNC emails cause they were all fundraising, its time to subscribe again There will be fundraising emails, of course, but theres a lot of non fundraiser update emails too 1/2

I heard they set the first retaliatory tariff rate at 34%, one for each felony conviction.

Several of you have asked me how to live in a nation whose leader has embraced cruelty as public policy. How do we inhabit Trump’s America without becoming complicit in this cruelty? Some thoughts... robertreich.substack.com/p/sunday-tho...

Just wanted to send a quick thank-you for standing with us yesterday. Everything went smoothly, and our coalition members are safe. A little good trouble goes a long way.

Imagine you were dealing with a person who would report that there was two and there was also this other two but didn't want to add them up to get to four, because getting all the way to four felt like making a statement and they didn't want to alarm anybody or be accused of making an accusation.

A unanimous Supreme Court upheld an order from federal district court Judge Paula Xinis that said the government must facilitate the release of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from custody in El Salvador. Now that's a win. For more, read The Big Picture.

In other news, cherry blossoms in a public park.

Haha 😂

omg shut up, you useless, useless man

JUST IN: @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social grills Trump’s lead trade negotiator as Trump—in real time—pulls the rug out from under him.

Trump's tariffs aren't designed to help you — they're meant to make rich people even richer.

For them, it’s all there in black and white.
