That's no problem. The feature wasn't available when I set up the feed!

Yep, totally helpless lol. Not just me by the way, I'd have to move my family off Facebook WhatsApp etc to keep in touch. Etc. these apps are ever present for a reason.. They are best in class.

What worries me is this war is fought on social media. Giving the far right / Trump x, Facebook, Google, YouTube, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, Airbnb etc is just playing into their hands. Pretty soon every forum, and review site will be giving the same message.. that far right is the majority

This isn't going to save your democracy. You'll just make more Billionaire CEOs, and I can guarantee they are pretty much all going to be Right Wing. The harder you try and go down this boycott route, the more you will lose out, or just look hypocritical. I've no idea what the answer is by the way.

Exactly, I don't know where this is going or hoping to achieve, but everyone boycotting, needs to turn off their PC for a start, and presumably start growing their own everything

swapping airbnb for facebook marketplace? I've tried to cut down on the multinationals, but it just isn't possible without literally turning off the internet. Then who has won?
comment in response to post
yeah, good luck to you. Hope more of your fellow countrymen see the light before the next election.

Microsoft/Apple.. see what I mean. We can boycott, but we'll just create another billionaire, who is likely to be just as bad, while hampering our own lives in the process.

plus what's the point, they'll still be evil with more money than they can ever spend! We might as well benefit as well if they have the best deals, and pay the workers / BnB owners

I don't know how you can boycott them, as tempting as it is. Google, Amazon, Facebook, Airbnb, Microsoft? Apple? We are totally dependant on these multinationals for a reason, usually convenience. Then many of the "smaller" firms are brands hidden behind multinationals.

Excellent, thanks very much. I've now applied that, so we should see a change in a week's time!

Hi, I created this feed, but only have options up to 7 days maximum, on the skyfeed builder app. If anyone can make a feed with a longer retention let me know, and I will remove this one. The only gotchas I have encountered is to exclude "Northantsbirds", and "nude" for some reason.

I thought there were a few good players this evening. Quansah, Diaz, Elliot, Nunez, Salah, McAllister. Enjoyable game. Composed for the most part.

Sorry, I got that wrong, #Hantsbirds is the name of the feed. (It will capture #hantsbirding, and other key words)
comment in response to post
Hi Steve, Use #Hantsbirding to link up with other local sightings

Sarcasm aside, this platform needs to improve it's trending feature. We shouldn't have to search for it. It should be in our faces when we log in... It isn't.

Excellent birdwatching in the area, so known to most birders. Weird looking village to be honest, very open plan, and linear!

Slowly coming back in some areas. Still no water for most people in the area at the moment tho
comment in response to post
Hi John, tag your posts #Hantsbirds to link up with a few other local birders

Hi Michael, We have a feed #Hantsbirds if you want to link up with other local birders

Might be easier just to include a flower!

Forgot to post the Spoonbills! #HantsBirds

Sounds like I should consider going back to twitter then! Not much point me cutting off my nose to spite my face
comment in response to post
Yeah, looking around. Just about every organisation on the planet is clinging to it's twitter presence for fear of losing followers! It's really disappointing lol. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Or is it that most people go about their day on X not realising, or not seeing the bad things.?

And maybe it's time for us to vote with our feet away from orgs still supporting the hate platforms. They've had a few months to realise how toxic it is now. And I include Zeiss and RBA who turn a blind eye to no end of right wing conspiracy bull on birdforum's ruffled feathers here.

Yes, Skyfeed works really well. I created a feed for Hantsbirds, which worked fine until Northantsbirds sprung into life! I've now managed to filter out the northants posts.
