My analytical ethic is to convey what folks need to hear, not what they want to hear. Millions believing fantasies/lies is how Trump gained followers. Millions not treating him as a serious threat is how we got here. Threats must be faced eyes wide open, with all options on the table. Sad but true.

No, because I felt the answer was predictable. Trump either stops defying the courts, the law, & the Constitution & refrains from using USG power to repress his opponents, or he doesn't. If the latter, civil conflict--including violence--is inevitable...only its scale and duration remain unknowable.
