I'm Australian, so not really familiar with the US and Canadian relationship, but if it's anything like the relationship between Australia and New Zealand, The Australian military would mutiny if ordered to invade New Zealand, wouldn't the US military do similar?

Yeah they objected to him not being an extremist, and Murdoch media constantly doing hatchet jobs on him, if Murdoch media hate you, you're probably a decent person.

Europe can do it alone. Their combined military budget is $450 billion, the problem is working together effectively as a team, I'm hopeful but a little worried.

Hopefully you can add Commonwealth countries flags to the left column.

I agree, but what about implementing a public healthcare system that actually works for the people and not the corporate world? There's trillions to be saved there.

DOGE knows exactly what it's doing, it just doesn't say what it's doing, here is the best and simplest video I've found that explains the idiocy of DOGE youtu.be/lG9pxvpGY-Q?...

USA 1994 to Ukraine, hand over your nukes, and we'll defend you. USA 2025 to Ukraine, had over half your minerals and country, and we'll help you surrender. Absolute scum of the earth.

So if all international relations are nothing more than a business transaction, where's my countries hundreds of billions owed to it by the US for blood, lives, and treasure we've expended in American wars?
comment in response to post
Outstanding.
comment in response to post
Then Osama must be to blame 🤪
comment in response to post
We've supported the USA every time you ask with blood and treasure, how is this not being a worthy ally? Australia isn't a worthy ally? Straight back at you, fuck you.

According to the father of fascism Benito Mussolini fascism is a merger of state and corporate power, this is exactly what the US voted for, and they love it, trumps approval ratings continue to improve. So yes, the people of the US are a fascist loving people.
comment in response to post
Exactly, they're premeditated lies, the companies exporting aluminium to the US from Australia are US companies.
comment in response to post
Let's not forget that the companies exporting aluminium from Australia to the USA are US owned of majority owned.
comment in response to post
At this point what else can we expect from the USA but compulsive lies, we really need to rethink our alliance with these pricks.
comment in response to post
To hell with the USA and their compulsive lying, back stabbing scum.
comment in response to post
Really? Please do tell what exactly has Australia ever done to betray the US? My brother was maimed in an American war, my uncle killed in an American war, we have supported you every time you ask, to hell with the US and it's fascist loving people.
comment in response to post
No I don't hate you, but I'll never trust you country again, you are not longer worthy allies and never will be again.
comment in response to post
I don't hate anyone, but I'm deeply angry and feel betrayed, to hell with the US.
comment in response to post
Just put a 50% tariff on all US imports, cancel the submarines and start talks on US withdrawal from Pine Gap.
comment in response to post
Here's hoping.
comment in response to post
To hell with the USA, the whole country can just F#$k off.
comment in response to post
My uncle died in an American war, my brother crippled, another brother and cousins fought for them, they all feel the same way I do, a deep anger and feeling of betrayal.
comment in response to post
It has nothing to do with money, the value of our steel and aluminium exports is a paltry percentage of our trade, it's about trust, it's about friendship, it's about having been there for them when they asked, only to have them betray us over something so small.
comment in response to post
The orang-utans popularity has only increased every time he screws over an ally, it may not be every American but it is a large majority, to hell with the lot of them, there'll be no changing my mind, I never forgive betrayal.
comment in response to post
To hell with the US, back stabbing bastards
comment in response to post
As a former Australia USA alliance supporter, whose family has sacrificed blood and lives fighting alongside Americans in American wars, I'd like to say, Fuck the lot of you American pricks, you back stabbing scum.

The whole thing is trumps usual stupidity. It's $300 million in trade. We should just tell them the $300 billion submarine deal is no longer in our national interest.
comment in response to post
That submarine deal is one of the worst deals we've ever entered into, this is the perfect time to dump that lemon.
comment in response to post
There's perhaps the worst deal ever made by an Australian government to buy US nuclear submarines, this is the perfect time to cancel it.
comment in response to post
There's a bunch of nuclear submarines we're buying from the USA we really don't need.
comment in response to post
And to think only a few months ago I considered the USA a friendly country, to hell with them.
comment in response to post
It's a way of pouring trillions into companies and corporations, sounds like they're setting up the largest con in history.
comment in response to post
trumps full of crap, keeps spouting off about the most lunatic stuff, people should ignore the geriatric toddler.

Non Accelerating Inflationary Rate of Unemployment, it's an obscenity, we should go back to taxing the rich to control inflation.
comment in response to post
It's not entirely fiction, but there's so many variables that it's almost meaningless. Why can't we go back to taxing the rich to control inflation?
comment in response to post
100% correct, I don't understand why this isn't common knowledge. Why can't we go back to taxing the rich to control inflation?

I'm in no way an expert, just an electrician who reads a lot, but from my understanding, influenza viruses evolve rapidly, it may have been quite harmless a few years ago.

And it has managed to infect a number of mammals, the impact on the seal population has been devastating.
comment in response to post
You're probably correct. As far as I'm aware, it hasn't managed human to human infection, it's only a matter of time though.
comment in response to post
Australia should have the official position that they have no official position, we shouldn't be supporting either the Palestinian nor the Israeli terrorists.
comment in response to post
So do we believe this guy or Dutton?
comment in response to post
Australia should stay out of the whole horrible mess, there's not a damn thing we can do to influence the situation.
comment in response to post
Australia should stay out of the whole awful mess
comment in response to post
Yeah but if it does jump the species barrier and becomes communicable between humans there'll be millions of MAGA and ant vac people refusing to take it or do anything to protect anyone, selfish pricks.
