Partially - I think there is a decent argument that it can make some code a bit more… unapproachable for juniors? And ofc, you can go overboard and end up with whatever Haskell nerds seem to do

I need to exercise more, I need a better routine, especially around sleep, I would like to feel a bit more motivated through the day usually But I’m mostly just content. And part of that is just being able to pay for food instead of think about cooking it every night.

I’ll never be able to explain to them that just because I don’t tend to make myself sad microwaved broccoli every night, my diet is mostly pretty good. My panels all come back fine. And full fat milk probably won’t kill them but it might make mornings a bit nicer

People will tell you documentation and code comments aren’t important, until you need to change some config and suddenly you can’t remember who should be signing some certificate or where you got it.

And especially watching Andor now, the absolute distilled messaging that the Gilroys pull of perfectly really highlights where TLJ struggled to say its piece And some of that may well be format as much as writing I would love to see what a RJ work outside of Skywalker stuff looks like, personally

When I came out of the theatre, I actually thought it was great! Especially in contrast to TFA which felt very ā€œhey kids, you like Star Wars? I made a flashier Ep4!ā€ But in hindsight, there’s pacing issues and a few key scenes that fall kinda flat and unclear.

I appreciate that it was trying to _say_ something - unlike a lot of Disney SW (that doesn’t have a Gilroy attached). Trying to include themes about legacy, legend and ā€œanyone can be a heroā€ was really great. I really like that they show Luke failing to live up to his legend.

I’ve worked in offices with dozens of in-office romances that ended short and sharp, and a couple with very few Depends on the workplace culture and what you’re both into lol - you are allowed to just talk about it with her directly :p Also ā€œtypeā€ is a fickle thing, I’d not read into it so hard

Australia is by no means counted and settled, but it looks thoroughly like the Conservative Party lost _even more_ seats than they started with - like maybe even 6 or something (There’s 150 seats in aus so that’s a huge number)

Voting is compulsory So if it happens to be a nice day and you remember it’s election day when you’re already out surfing… Slutty voting must happen!

Unless your local produce farmer is doing it as a hobby… odds are they’re gonna try and cut costs and maximise profit as much as anyone else Turns out that when the choice is ā€œdo I sell this thing that maybe shouldn’t be eaten, and can’t afford my own food, or notā€ā€¦ people ain’t generous

Ooooo that’s cool! I haven’t tried Oblivion yet, but it’s funny hearing non-devs complaining that UE5 games are running at 40fps or smth Like that’s not UE5’s problem 😭😭
