Is it possible to manually populate table with entraTenantId/tenantDescription data? (To avoid leaving file on the network somewhere)

If you are partner, though, you may get development license which can include a number of team member licenses.
comment in response to post
These are the only licenses I have: Dynamics 365 Business Central for IWs.
comment in response to post
Nope, I don't think there exists "trial team member" license...

I do force devs to init vars even if they have local scope. It's easier for me to control the code that I've never seen before, since it is irrelevant if the var is global, local, passed as parameter etc.

There are not many people that can translate functional to dev questions/requests and vice versa, I think that it requires deep knowledge of both sides so what is enjoyable is when I see that we can separate teams and empower functional consultants and devs to be best at their field.

Since I work in NAV for 20 years now, I did my part in various projects and roles, but I'm more on a technical side. Last period I'm mostly sitting between people requesting development and people doing development.

Is this bc compiler info or?

Any user*

To be honest, don't know for BC, but in NAV 2018 you could set device license to any use, as long as you have enough device licenses and you create enough Device records.
comment in response to post
As far as I know MAC was never controlled, at least in older NAV installations. You could, even, create device without any MAC defined and it would still work. Not sure if it is strictly legal but it works.

Lately I'm trying to do something other than a job in a spare time... :)
comment in response to post
So far I've noticed only there...

Maybe wrong choice of wording. The ultimate goal is that all team members have much of the knowledge of the new stuff. I'm trying to find the optimal way for that. I'm sharing staff on local channels also, but in that way sometimes no one looks at the new post...

I'm kind of not used to LinkedIn. IMHO that place is for head hunting and most notifications I get there are in similar manner. Thanks for the blog, it gives a new hint on how to follow new stuff systematically. You said that you share/forward news to other team members, but is it fruitful?
comment in response to post
That seems like a good approach, balance between consuming of time and staying on train. How do you share that knowledge in company to the rest of the team? Documentation/writing or live presentations?
comment in response to post
Let's start. How are you catching up with new #msdyn365bc features, changes and versions? If company, do you have a person designated to follow new things only?
comment in response to post
Could be, also.
comment in response to post
Others don't work also, this was a link to the About me.
comment in response to post
Ummm... This was a link to the Table Data Editor.

Apparently, it is possible for Teams users to have mail account set. Once the user with standard licence creates email account it appears created for other users (or, at least, for Team member users) and it works for sending of emails. I'm little bit confused how all this works.
comment in response to post
Currently I can't find any information on this. I don't know should I continue trying to add Current User setup to such users, or try shared mailbox, or abandon that idea in full...
comment in response to post
It's full blown panic attack then.
comment in response to post
Yeah, it is even mentioned in docs, as I posted earlier, but the catch is that you have to show it in debug console, where you only have to type the full var name. bsky.app/profile/phen...
comment in response to post
So, there is no solution for snapshot? In regular debugging on sandbox it is working properly...
comment in response to post
Afaik, it only has to be signed, but I can't recall where did I get that information...
comment in response to post
This is great! Where did you get this from? Is there official documentation on this?

Some areas here got more than 1 meter of snow, but at my place it's more modest, 30cm max. It didn't stop still, though...
comment in response to post
Currently, I'm ignoring them.

I got a number of non-related accounts that started following me. They certainly are not from BC world.
comment in response to post
Is it available to us using Azure DevOps as repository? I do have personal GitHub account though.
comment in response to post
I've started with Service Model. Besides that, do you recommend specific order of reading?
comment in response to post
Found it on Amazon.
comment in response to post
Where can we get it?
comment in response to post
But not everything works as intended, right? For example, access to OneDrive, or mailing, powerBI cause user is licensed in another tenant (if licensed at all, of course).
comment in response to post
We had issue with this more that few times since users like to review entries before posting.
comment in response to post
Not to that. I'm referring to the Close Income Statement procedure (year-end procedure) where with LCY only system will create general journal which can be reviewed and posted manually, but if ACY is used, the system will post statement directly (automatically).
comment in response to post
Pay attention to one awkward consequence of using ACY, Year Closing procedure will automatically post closing entries, instead of to prepare journals only to be revised.

Additional currency?

This is not a large amount of data, where exactly do you get slowdowns and are you positive that those two flowfields are the cause?
