The conflict *always* exists at the leadership level in society. The people in the street know how to get along.

The guy who wore it is rather high up in our company hierarchy, and has immediate family that is higher yet, so that anyone bothered by it couldn't really say anything without risking their job, making it both antagonistic, and cowardly, two traits that Trump shares with many of his supporters.

I know we're all partisan hypocrites, and that media companies are beholden to the class that owns them, but come on. This is just insulting the intelligence of the audience.

Hi Congressman Torres. Aside from facilitating genocide and shielding it's perpetrators from accountability, do you have any other hobbies?

This cuts deep.

At the risk of revealing myself to be the uncultured savage I am, I sought it out because I used to play the tabletop roleplaying game Shadowrun, and Harlequin was one of my favorite characters.

I rewatched Apocalypse Now recently and realized the Lance character, who effortlessly switches between personas as the story progresses, has the initials LBJ and I've been wondering what the fuck Coppola meant by that ever since. I should probably read Heart of Darkness.

100%. It wasn't the natives who changed this place from purple to deep red. Assholes from other states move here en masse and we're left characterized by their bullshit. If we threw out everyone from Ohio, and New York, the cultural, and political, landscape would be much different.

Can we send back all the assholes from other states first?

I know it's not the point, but I'm going to enjoy watching Trump shit all over the NYT despite their best to ingratiate themselves.

Thanks. You're doing good work.

That was like three accounts to block. I can do this all day. But not everyone can so I think the more important strategy is not to engage. They get no response whatsoever. They're invisible.

Thanks! That's awesome you caught that.

It's wild watching men of my generation voting for a man their grandfathers would have shot.

Is there a punk-sky feed I should subscribe to, or other users who often share similar music?

This is a little heavier, and more melodic, than their earlier work. I like it.

I loved their album Paul Walker. Looking forward to this. Their lead singer has so much anguish in his voice.
