Just wait until moms and dads need to do back-to-school shopping. Kids shoes p, clothes, backpacks, pencils, pens, notebooks -almost all made in China. Someone should draw up a shopping list with prices now and compare with prices+tariffs.

This does not allow younger members to gain the experience required to lead.
This must change! We as voters should demand this in every town hall and in phone calls to our elected representatives.

I was a local elected official and decided when I turned 73 that it was time to announce my retirement and help recruit and mentor my successor. It was the right thing to do!
The problem with national Dems is that the whole committee system in the house and senate runs on seniority. 1/2

Was watching him on CNN, but couldn’t take the droning and BS any more and turned it off.

50%of Trump supporters = less than one quarter of voters. So there is that.

Only posts that cheer me up these days are from Canada, and since Hegseth and Vance spouted off, also now from Europe.

Ex reporter here. If I were a White House reporter now I’d be on the phone or online the minute a news conference was over and send everything I had to my friends at AP, so they had equal opportunity to report whatever godawful thing just occurred.

This is not being sponsored by a credible organization. Unless someone can identify who is behind this, I’d advise staying away.

I had never heard of him so read the interview. My take? incoherent, muddled thinking that lacked real substance. His half baked views on women were particularly offensive. I won’t bother to delve deeper into his work - those tech billionaires who follow him are not as bright as they think they are

No way he wrote this - actually decent sentence construction. His minions at work

So now the big question is: do I unsubscribe to the WP? There are still good reporters covering the House and Senate on a daily/hourly basis. Is any other outlet going to match this?

Jeez! Has he seen the folks at Trump rallies? These looked to be a bunch of super unhealthy folks who could suffer the most if this lunacy is implemented. Voter annihilation?

The potential consequences went sky-high with Trump’s desire to have Kash Patel atop the FBI. Ron Filipkowski has the goods:

We really have to stop bringing a knife to a gunfight. That’s why Biden pardoned his son.

I’m hoping Biden now announces pardons for others every day until the end of his term. Apparently there is a long list of folks for whom this would be appropriate. He just started with the most egregiously political case.

I completely agree! I retired last December from elected office at age 72, and will be stepping away from leadership in my local Dem LD next month. I’ll be in the background donating and doing what I can, but it’s time for a new generation of leaders!

The other problem WA should solve pronto is to fix funding for K-12 education and make our schools the envy of the nation. That’s how we demonstrate that with Democrats in charge, things get better.

Good plan! Unfortunately I’ve watched it all already. Great series!
