You're welcome. Glad I came across this in time. Good luck with the production!

Great film. One of Carpenter's best.

Maybe they simply never went to bed, and they were still awake at 7am. Junkies can have fucked up sleep schedules.

I tend to do this as well, but not so much because of the wait between seasons but because I'm sick to death of getting involved with a show only to have it cancelled and left on a cliffhanger.

"Chinese cultural impact beyond its own borders is almost nonexistent" Have you ever heard of a little place called Hong Kong? If you think Chinese films haven't impacted culture outside of China you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

It's been mostly downhill for humanity since we started agriculture.

I get why a lot of people don't like Discovery. The last season in particular felt like it was way too far up its own ass. But when I read that it "failed" I just don't see it. It was well received by critics and had enough viewership that Paramount made 5 (very expensive) seasons and 2 spin-offs.

I don't know, I think it was so bad it reached "so bad it's good" and the kept going until it was just bad again.

I think Pig is Cage's best performance. It subverts the standard action revenge genre into something that ends up being oddly uplifting. The ending wrecked me tho.

Just kidding. I don't actually care about the Superbowl. Still, fuck the NFL.

I'm currently writing a piece on the 1966 Batman movie. It doesn't get much campier than that. Some other suggestions: - Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) - The Day of the Triffids (1962) - Army of Darkness (1992)

I don't disagree with any of that. I guess my point is that even if it fails it will probably get rebooted again anyway. Just give it a few years. After all, the last F4 movie was a disaster and yet here we are.

Or one of my personal favorites: The Day of the Triffids (1962) If you like a lot of bad puns you can't do any better than the 1966 Batman
