my rep is on the house armed services committee, so i thought she might have felt like she had to vote for it, but not everyone on the committee did. if she's trying to "support the military" to get votes, i'm hoping she realizes this kind of shit isn't support.

i did! i said this would hurt the military by making people choose between service to their country and the wellbeing of their kids (there's a military base in my district) and that if Rs do evil and Ds let them then there's no difference b/w the parties. the aide said they'd pass it on to my rep. 🤞

omg i forgot about the shoelace website! i have now learned the Ian knot! when i first learned how to tie my shoes, i kept stepping on people's shoelaces to untie them so i could say "oh your shoe's untied, let me fix it". all that's to say that i'll be insufferable for the next few days.

what was she like as an advisor? i used to teach, and i can't imagine trusting AI with any topic (or students!) i cared about even the slightest. i guess what i'm wondering is, is she passionate about anything she teaches? did she care about what you were working on? does she have a heart?
