All acceptable as long as Burnley and Blackburn stay where they are

I can see no issue with that proposal as long as Leeds go up as well. My marriage won’t survive another near miss.

Despite the context of the original post, this thread is the most amusing thing I have read in quite a while. Betty’s- overpriced. I think we should make people go to Betty’s as a punishment if they don’t support our mission. And Leeds United to go up leaving Burnley and Rovers behind.

After I stopped crying and sitting in their empty beds I realised the washing basket was nearly empty, food bill went down dramatically, house was tidy and Pinder Cabs went out of business. Took a while though.

I cried when both of mine went to uni. Lasted a few weeks and then yippee, the washing was minimal and the house was always tidy.

Also, I didn’t like the link between FB / instagram and threads. I like to keep my social media presence in two distinct camps. Personal stuff about family and farming on FB and work on twitter.

I am one of these. Why don’t I post? Probably an inferiority complex when reading posts from well respected folk. However, the PD I gleaned from Twitter was great and I often sent out blogs to the whole staff.

Don’t forget the washing. Doubt my son ever changed his bed apart from when he was coming home. That wasn’t often!

Life without teenagers…… you cry when they go uni, then they come back 4 years later to save for a house . They are adults and very expensive to feed!

Me too, never put personal stuff on Twitter, use FB for all theories of the sheep/dog/ cat etc. can use threads without Instagram, just can’t dedicate the time to all of the different platforms .

All are vital, but the communication needs to be good. We need to explain why things are happening with greater clarity.

however once I became a subject leader, I knew more about the jigsaw that makes a school run and again when I joined SLT. It’s not that I think I know better, I just know more about the links. We see a wider view, not just my department/ year group.

I agree with all points. As a seasoned practitioner, I remember the frustration at some of the decisions that leaders made and felt I knew better teaching 23 hours a week,

Good job we aren’t at work 😂 although I would credit it as CPD

Hello dear. However, it is taking over my life trying to find the same people I followed on the other one.

You are so asking the wrong person. It has taken me multiple attempts to get some photos up to prove I am human! Holiday is good, hope you are getting some time away from the laptop.

Nice! Had a double sided auto reverse tape player on my car at one point.
