If you’ve lived through spousal DV, you know that isolation and restricting outside contacts, controlling access to funds, and denigrating language is universally employed. Now look at social media and news through that lens and think about who is publishing what.

If you thought it wasn’t possible—well, here we are. Musk pulled $80 million in funding authorized by Congress straight from NYC’s bank account. The federal government took the funds and called it a “clawback” of taxpayer money. A lot of others would simply call it stealing.
