A president who doesn't care about the Constitution. An attorney general with no regard for the Law, An FBI unconcerned with civil rights... What could go wrong?

Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops. I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III. Remind you of anyone?

Right Now, most of the American can relate to this message from the 90's.

pro tip: very few people right now want to hear about how your conscience wouldn't let you vote for Kamala. shut the fuck up

Friendly reminder. In the United States, criminals are entitled to due process. Even if you pay hush money rig an election, steal top secret documents, or incite a mob to overthrow the government; no matter how egregious your crimes, you’re entitled to due process.

This is some bullshittery.

“We have a system of checks and balances. A tyrant can always be stopped as long as congress has a spine.” Congress:

Just a reminder: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lacks formal education or professional credentials in critical scientific fields such as biology, neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, immunology, virology, epidemiology, genetics, pharmacology, or medicine.

With all the videos of police illegally entering people’s home using intimidation & force to detain & deport American if not worse. Black peoples have dealt with that for centuries. It’s police brutality. That is beyond unconstitutional. That is why Colin Kaepernick knelt.… Now do you f’n get it?

If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.

Happy Record Store Day, everybody. Make sure to shop local.

AOC: We must acknowledge the terrifying moment we are in right now. What we are hearing and seeing with our own eyes is, in fact, happening. We are watching our neighbors, students, and friends being fired, targeted, and disappeared. It is real.

NEW: Yesterday, the Justice Department sent armed marshals to warn former U.S. pardon attorney Liz Oyer not to disclose internal DOJ information during her Senate testimony. Today, Oyer is speaking out to condemn the DOJ’s actions and defend the rule of law.

Senator Jim Banks (R) isn’t sorry he told a fired federal worker “he probably deserved it”. He went on to say the worker was “complaining about losing a left-wing woke job in the federal government that should have never been a job to begin with”. The job was helping people with disabilities.

Raskin: We even have the right to call the president deranged for crashing our economy, destroying $6 trillion of wealth and turning our 401(k) Into a 201 (K). And the press has the right to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of Mexico.

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble. For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity. What will you do?

Senator Booker: What kind of man is in the white house that makes fun of the disabled, who lies so much that the fact checkers lose count, that minimizes the pain and the suffering

No lies told here.

Photo of dancer Andreya in the beautifully restored Grade II listed Crystal Palace Subway. It was designed by Charles Barry Jr & first opened in 1865. The subway provided a direct access to the Crystal Palace for first-class rail passengers. #photography #london

Raskin: "There's an absolute attack on the Constitution taking place by an administration which views the Constitution as just inconvenient furniture that's gotta be kicked out of the way."

Because honestly I needed some cute today.

🔥🔥

Shorn of the legalities, the Admin basic position is that we can do whatever we want if we say it's national security (and that includes Trump lies about same, which can't be questioned) and we don't have to tell court or anyone why. That's tyranny, plain and simple.

EXCLUSIVE: This just happened onstage in front of 6,000 Bostonians at the Dropkick Murphys concert. "This is America, no kings here!" @dropkickmurphys.com nails it again!!

Manifesto - by Nemik There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. (1/5.)

Welllll that’s not a good look for my former classmate. 🤦‍♀️ Dude, you were always such a kind person. Zero respect. Zero.

Trump can call me names but the truth remains. He is an unhinged wanna be dictator who is angry that I beat him in court and won't cower in fear. Now he is weaponizing the federal government against his political opponents. I will not back down. I will not bow or scrape. I will never obey.

I find "listen to the women" excellent advice in this specific case and... in life in general. ♀️ #VoteNO 👎

Soooo much this.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT THE FUCK, CHUCK?

Everybody has a plan until a cat falls asleep in their lap

James: Whenever he issues an executive order, it’s the blue wall of defense. The attorneys general all across this country are responding in record time—defending the rights of individuals, defending the rule of law, and standing up for our democracy and for our freedom. We’ll continue to do that

Kelly: When I was flying in combat over Iraq during the first Gulf War, I didn’t expect that there was a 10-year-old kid sitting in South Africa who would one day become the richest guy in the world and call me a traitor for doing my job. Now, he kind of acts like a 12-year-old kid

Holy shit, a whopping 56 percent of Americans DISAPPROVE of trump's abysmal handling of the economy. This is lower than any other point even in his first term. PASS IT ON.
