I agree with that. There’s an overwhelming anti Trump sentiment in Britain which had only grown in recent weeks with his comments. Farage’s fear of criticism for fear of Musk not pumping money in will be to his detriment.

Ooof I feel your pain mate. Still, that ranks as the best test match I went to. The atmosphere was incredible that night

Ha ha it was always good to see how terrified the Aussies were of him. I still fondly remember the 12second send off at the then named JJB Stadium in the Ashes.

I don’t know about you Brian but all I saw was that Aussie headbutt Shaun’s forearm. Abhorrent behaviour

This is absolutely astonishing. How someone can turn a once very trusted ally into an untrustworthy potential hostile state in less than a month is incredible. I’d have never have put the USA on the other side of WW3 but here we are.

It isn’t defeatist, it’s realistic. But each to their own.

Be that as it may what’s being suggested is totally unrealistic and will never effectively work.

To me and you, no. To those that either wilfully or by design don’t understand - yes. The issue the left and centre, has isn’t the solutions. It’s the comms. Until an effective comms strategy is found, the right will trample over realistic solutions and make false large promises they cannot keep.

Because they come out with easy solutions to complex problems, shift blame from the themselves elsewhere, make out that the Government trying to control you, make everything a conspiracy and make themselves front and centre of being the solution rather than admitting they’re the issue.

Facebook is the biggest social media platform in the world and Amazon is one of the biggest companies in the UK. A boycott would never, ever get off the ground. People are leaving X (Twitter) in their droves so that’s a win.

The words “go f*ck yourself” spring to mind. The irony is that the Brexit voters incensed at the apparent foreign EU intrusion into UK matters will lap up foreign Trump and Musks intrusion into UK matters.

And Reform as the opposition would be utterly disastrous.

That is the standard all politicians should be held to, whatever the colour of their flag. The fact Farage consistently avoids this level of scrutiny is simply abhorrent.
