Freddie Mercury didn't go into the studio and nail the vocals for "The Show Must Go On" in one take while dying of AIDS for you to despair and give up now. Take the time you need, but then get up and get back out there. The show must go on.

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

This scrum of pot-bellied, sunken-chested betas trying to bully an all-black clad badass Eastern European wasteland survivor while dressed like Men’s Wearhouse mannequins is peak cinema.

The world has witnessed the most disgraceful political tantrum of all time. Trump is not the leader of the "free world." He is convicted felon who doesn't deserve to be in the same room as President Zelenskyy. There is no going along to get along with this thug. Canada needs to stand with Ukraine.

I would like to point out that without Mitch Marner, this series might have ended much differently: he scored the winner in overtime in game 1, and he was the first assist for McDavid in the series-winning overtime game. He deserves more credit! #unsunghero #MitchMarner #fournations #4nations

From Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's IG - You can’t take our country — and you can’t take our game.

Canada is ready. We will fight. I thank the Prime Minister for his powerful statement in response to the thuggish attacks by Trump. We are unified as a nation. Our American cousins are divided. We will kick at the darkness until it bleeds daylight. www.thestar.com/politics/fed...

Having watched with growing alarm the developments of the last 24 and 36 hours in Washington, I thought I’d take a stab at how the US media would cover this story if it was happening in a foreign country. Here’s that story that should be written this weekend: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/musk-s-jun...

#severance film stills 19 & 20 & 21 & 22. Our “Lumon is Listening” film being created by stop motion masters at Starburns Industries. Alyssa Choate Rusche produced and Michael Granberry directed. They were amazing to work with and are so good at what they do.

There are so many huge things to fear and discuss that I've found myself taking refuge in minor complaints, like "I can't find the precise kind of herbal tea that I want," or "These tomatoes are slightly too fibrous." There's something so satisfying about a minor gripe.

After Trump is long gone and when Canada is still the true north strong & free. I hope that people will remember the traitors & scoundrels like Kevin O'Leary who thought that Canada as the 51st State was a good idea and what a colossal douchebag he was... RS

He orchestrated a coup. It failed. He was a convicted felon. He rose to power on a wave of divisive propaganda and hateful anti-immigrant rhetoric. He promised to make things great again. He threatened to annex his neighbors. I'm referring, of course, to Adolf Hitler.

The news is so sad And everywhere, defeat Comfort's hard to come by Tho broken hearts still beat Even disillusioned eyes Can somehow see the good In people when they try To get back up where once they stood RS

The so-called "centre-right" has collapsed. The cordon sanitaire which existed to separate the "centre-right" and radical or far right has collapsed. New column 👇 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Another reason why Pierre Poilievre is unfit to lead Canada. His front bench are conspiracy nutters who are using the threat of an American takeover of our nation to peddle conspiracy drivel. We need leaders with a vision for Canada. Poilievre is too busy chasing the rage algorithm of conspiracy.

RIP Jimmy Carter A truly decent man RS

Nobody ever planted a tree in this photo. It was a working gravel pit 30 years ago. We need to get over our obsession with planting trees and let nature do the job. The results are just SO much better. It's also about realising we are not, in fact, central to everything. 🌍

@debdundas.bsky.social Class is… ‘back on the table’…

What do you do when your old cat (16) always wants to be near you? Make a little bed for her on your desk.

Here's one thing I learned after last night's TVO TODAY LIVE episode at Victoria College @uoft.bsky.social: @margaretatwood.bsky.social is at the top of her game, at age 85 no less. She got a thunderous standing ovation at the end of the evening for her insights on democracy. It'll air soon on tvo.

Remembering Freddie Mercury, who left us 33 years ago today ❤️

Still figuring out how I'm gonna use (or not use) this platform but I thought over the next week or so I'd post some behind-the-scenes shots from the making of #SayNothing. It was a 9- month shoot. Here's me chatting with Lola Petticrew between takes in Shepton Mallet prison, where we filmed Ep 6.
