@planetarypan.bsky.social and Dr. Betül Kaçar discussed her team's recent research on exploring a "cookbook of life." This work challenges conventional assumptions about the origin of life, suggesting that life might be inevitable under the right chemistry rather than a rare and exceptional event.

I don’t want to put two of them on blast because one was prolly exhausted at the end of a long weekend and the other has since mended their ways. The third? Kevin Sorbo. And that was 2014.

Honestly, going through my long list of celebrity encounters, the more I realize they were 99% lovely and I can only name three that disappointed me. (I attend a lot of cons and have since I was 16.)

The second time I met Nichelle Nichol, I mentioned I had graduated with my physics degree, and she said she knew she recognized me and was very excited to hear I had finished. I was incredibly touched.

I found out that the third book in a series wasn’t the last one. It’s now a five book series. I almost wept with the ending.

Does he sing while he does it? One of my cats does, and it's adorable.

Like, I want to be on a jury because it's my civic duty, but at the same time, I have a life and not a lot of time, so... getting excused feels so nice.

Got my hair cut on Monday, and all week, I have been feeling so much more myself that I went into the office three days straight and caught up on a couple of projects!

I'm very good at spelling. It's just that when typing, I have to sound those two out (and a couple others) to make sure I get them right. It's strange. As for math... I treat math like a language. Numbers are letters, equations are basic sentences, etc.

Honestly, this made my day a little bit better. More humor and silliness in the world, please.
