Google is getting harder and harder to use...hotmail is pretty much unusable due to its spam filter... I'm sure AI will be great soon, but right now it tends to make a lot of things worse. Then there's the co2 footprint and some ethical concerns...grumpy old me is not a fan yet.

First, this is facism. It's not 'on the path' or 'a worrying precedent'. It's just facism. Second, you cannot do any health or social science research if you ban 'bias', ethnicity', 'race', 'socioeconomic', 'female' etc. That, of course, may be the plan. Fascist regimes don't like social science.

Our new Nature Geoscience paper led by Danica Adams is now published: www.nature.com/articles/s41... Water-rock chemistry released hydrogen and helped make early Mars habitable to microbial life. We'll be able to test this idea directly once we can study Mars rocks here on Earth.
