And then we won an R+20 congressional seat in Oklafuckinghoma.

It’s a Trump +27 district that he won by 31 points three months ago. If we’re winning districts like that we’re approaching 300 seats lmao

Plus hasn’t the whole thing there for years been that DSA’s probably gonna have a candidate to succeed Velazquez when she retires?

Of course, necessarily, those who believe the United States should cease to exist as a result of its actions in Gaza were very likely to take actions that helped Donald Trump win the 2024 presidential election. You are not Oasis: you’re not starting a revolution from your bed.

In 2016, Rep. Steve Russell (R-OK) beat State Sen. and two-time nominee Al McAffrey (D) by 20.3%, with a Libertarian candidate getting 6.1% of the vote. In 2018, Russell lost re-election to Kendra Horn by 1.4%. Weird shit happens in midterms.

It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours, and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic. When the fire starts to burn, every good person better be ready to man a post with a bucket of water if you want to stop it from raging out of control.

Markey might flat out quit if I’m being honest. Also, re: Goldman, this:

Oh shit. Bad constituent services is what got Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman tossed out of a job (and got AIPAC to fund challengers) in the first place. Shoe’s on the other foot now lol

That and several other factors (Mondaire Jones, Carlina Rivera, the boatloads of money Goldman had, etc.) I think SPM falling flat on his ass in 2022 was one of the most hilarious results of that cycle

If the left unites around her, that is She made it pretty clear today she’s at least thinking about round two. Plus Goldman’s weak in primaries as it is

Many people want to both hate from outside the club and be in the club and don’t realize you can’t do both

I wonder if he’ll keep doing that with the overflow crowds he’s getting at his town halls now

That’s just doing a Seth Moulton

If Beyer’s deputy CoS is to be believed, many of those workers don’t want to be in the public eye whatsoever and won’t give the Dems permission to make their stories public. They need to keep pushing for brave souls that are willing to go public.

That primary win for Weil wasn’t a fluke either. Weil won every county/county portion, even Selmont’s home of the St. John’s portion, and somehow cleaned up in Flagler despite living nowhere damn near the district Weil lives south of Windermere ffs
