The fact of the matter is... facts matter!
News outlets are no longer reliable, and social media is even less so. Because of this, it is everyone's responsibility to seek out factual, unbiased information and think for themselves.

RunPee.
Great app!
It also tells you if there are any additional scenes during/after the credits.
(Free, but donation supported. I'm not affiliated with the app, but I donated. If anyone checks it out, please continue to support amazing small businesses and developers like these!)

Plenty of sources to corroborate this...

The facts are everywhere, one simply has to open one's eyes and choose to not ignore them.

I love these kind of moments... classic example... Stakeout (1987) Emelio Esteves and Richard Dreyfuss, playing movie line trivia while passing time during a police stakeout:
Esteves to Dreyfus, "This was not a boating accident!" Dreyfuss: "I don't know."
Estevez: "You're hopeless!"

They voted for him because he fed them what they wanted to hear but didn't understand. He said, "We'll tariff the hell out of everyone" and the crowd cheered not understanding that they were the "everyone" in that sentence. Tariffs are passed down to the final consumer in the form of higher prices.

His promises will likely make things worse for you.
Tariffs are paid by the importer & will be passed on to YOU through higher prices.
Economists did the math on his published policies:
-Soc. Sec. will run out of money 3 years sooner.
-His policies will run up the deficit & increase inflation

Both sides spin things. However, Trump has blatantly lied for personal gain and refuses to take accountability for his lies when presented with facts-he just repeats the lies louder. The troubling part is that his supporters believe him without question and don't actually understand his policies.

Excellent! A criminal clown telling people to cope.
Looks like we are in agreement.

I truly appreciate your optimism. While I know he has little power to act on his own, Congress looks a little different this time. Traditionally I would agree that Congress/SC are filled with reasonable people, but from what I've seen lately I'm not as confident. Hope you are right and I'm wrong!

More facts... Also from the economists at the Comitte for a Responsible Federal Budget. Trump's own published polices, if enacted will bring Social Security to insovlency 3 years sooner than projected. www.crfb.org/blogs/what-w...

I am in independent and trust the math.
Here's the summary from the economists at Committee for A Responsible Federal Budget... if enacted, Trump's own published polices will be worse for the deficit and inflation.

Facts contrary to what you would like to believe is not disinformation. Attempts to dismantle ACA & removing net neutrality both benefit companies, not people. You and I are the ones who will ultimately pay any tariffs as they will be rolled into the cost of goods sold, increasing prices/inflation.

In Trump's first term, he TRIED to roll back vital consumer protections like the ACA and net neutrality. These actions would have benefited corporations and hurt the American people. Now, with full Senate and House control, and greater blind allegiance, legislation like this will be easier for him.

Trump is for "you" ONLY if you are rich or a rich American corporation. Anyone who thinks otherwise has not done their homework. Economists at the Committee for A Responsible Federal Budget did the math based on his published policies. If you're not in those two categories, you will be worse off.

Arrival (2016) Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner - already recommended in this thread, but worth another +1

Yes! Partisan media, confirmation bias, cult of personality, and plain voter laziness is to blame. Any media outlet that cared about country over party/profit should have heavily reported the "Lost, Not Stolen" report, Committee for Responsible Federal Budget report, & defined "Tariffs" for people.
