Although sounds like you have a good head and heart on you from your other comments on this thread. We’re all learning all the time and that’s important.

I mean this so genuinely and not sarcastically which it will sound: go have these conversations irl. People are not invested in strangers online and frankly have no reason to be. I didn’t understand lots of things about causes I now hold dear until I made relationships with people willing to help me

Interesting! I feel like the central question is about how men are socialized though which is completely external and constructed and absolutely a social binary worth naming and interrogating. Agree that assuming we function different emotionally isn’t very useful though for sure.

It’s so frustrating to me that this is how we’re talking about the future of ai. Not regulations, not environmental impact, not ensuring they don’t become sentient. Just sci fi what ifs.

If you want to get really mad, read How to Hide an Empire. We started way too many of these wars.

Really makes you wonder why everyone only wants to talk about the male loneliness epidemic when it looks like we’re all doing bad…

Extra excited to turn down their requests for donations next time some poor undergrad has to call me about it!

I loved those at A&M but they were always off campus. Probably won’t be a problem for them either way?

70 hours of audiobooks about dragons that just make me angrier with every bit of canned dialogue and cliched plot point? Finished yesterday

The casual noticing a thing after making the effort to learn it! One of life’s little pleasures. I also love being the bestower of bird knowledge to my friends who haven’t done the learning yet.
