Back in 2012, I got to work for the Houston Public Library as a tech Librarian (I taught computer classes and held open job labs). It was my favorite job of all time. The mission—to serve every patron the same no matter who they were—was revolutionary! It was more powerful than church.

This is from the Great Reading Room in the library at OU—I read many amazing books there back in my day, and keep this photo as a reminder of one of my happy places.
