This games industry bloodbath is because of corporate mismanagement and pure, unrestrained avarice. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

WB was the worst thing to ever happen to Monolith

This reminds me once again of the need for depictions of romance and sexuality that involve vulnerability, raw emotion and intimacy, instead of the ones that are forced, sanitized, objectifying or distastefully pornographic: We deserve a portrayal of them with their full complexities and nuances.

Write like you're having a conversation with both the reader and yourself. Give yourself permission to take as much time as needed, enjoy the process, get creative with your writing in ways that excite you, and the timeless classic "read more, journal often"

Nightdive uses real people to help remaster and preserve classic games with its KEX engine, often collaborating with the original game creators to ensure the final product remains faithful to the original. An AI upscale/port with 0 thought put into it is not "preservation".

Been working on this for a while. Here's my retrospective documenting the Like A Dragon's tumultuous root becoming one of Sega's biggest franchises. From infamous English language dubs, to stripped back ports, to zombies. I touch on a bit of everything. www.restart.run/articles/lik...

6/10 games can be good games. 7/10 games can be good games. 8/10 games can be great games. 9/10 games can be amazing games. Games that are not a 10/10 are still very much worth your time I promise. Sometimes you can find a hidden gem this way & not even know it. Scores are subjective too. 👌🏻

Had a whole conversation about the importance of Tony Iommi's fingers in shaping metal music as we know it today that somehow ended up being the most normal part of my day lol

For those who don't know me well, I want to share that some of the people who've loved and supported me the most in my life have been trans, LGBTQ+, and POC. It should go without saying, but I always have and always will stand with them. Firmly, decidedly, with every ounce of my being.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm. The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him. Happy Black History Month.
