You have to be gullible if you buy this, 3 was horrible and they've done nothing to redeem themselves since. At least wait for a big sale

The moderation standards on this site are already bad and unevenly applied for artists and you're going to make it even worse with AI? Nobody wants this change

It's been painfully obvious for a long time now the Democrats are controlled opposition. People really need to learn it's a one-party system and that party is oligarchy and corruption. They're all buddies behind closed doors, this is an act.

That plush is very cute, I'd want to get it too.

Nah, you have to be a plumber for that and constantly make pipe checking jokes while staring at them. Make sure your pants sag down too

It's almost like people don't want to pay a monthly fee to get a steaming pile of garbage every month.

Soon you'll get the XL tooth driller excavating your teeth and they'll still ask you if it hurts.

Cute and attentive to your needs, definitely meets the requirements. Would head pat and chat

Yeah exactly they're called the good guys, they can't possibly also be bad guys right?

Family can be horrible, you make some good art and they should be supportive of you regardless. Some people really shouldn't be parents tbh.

Twitter is also like 90% bots so a lot of the conversations don't even involve humans.

I mean yeah, he destroyed Twitter and his obsession with "X" on everything is stupid af. All that to make it a right-wing propaganda operation full to the brim with bots.

that's to be expected, the game was horrible and not only ruined the story and many beloved characters but also had a cringy self-insert that made the experience unbearable. Also invulnerable companions you can't control among many other questionable gameplay decisions. It was so boring

The prices are higher, and the quality is generally lower than ever. Hard pass on pre-ordering too, why bother getting games on release when you can get them patched up and feature-complete later down the line on a heavy discount?

If anything AAA experience is a detriment with how things have been going lately. Shouldn't even be asked to applicants imo.

There's a surprising amount of people into older partners. I'm not bashing it since everyone's got their interests but it's certainly not for everyone.

Also game studios need to ban developer self-inserts. Taash was one of the worst and most insufferable characters since TLoU 2.

All they had to do is make another DAO but I don't think they're even capable of it anymore with the abysmal quality of their management and development teams. I do think Inquisition wasn't that bad either though but the story quality fell sharply at some points. And Qunari retcons were terrible
comment in response to

Also Taash being a horrible self-insert that just made the game unbearable. I actually liked inquisition after modding the war table wait timer out so I was very disappointed with the quality of this.

Good, that game was a pile of flaming garbage. They should've just made another game like DAO. Completely butchered all the characters and the story was a bland mess. Invulnerable companions you can't control and mandatory killing off one of your characters too. Hard pass

Or even games with no combat like visual novels etc. I actually think souls games have been harmful to gaming as a whole because there's an obsession over combat focused boss fight games with little to no actual story disguised as "environmental storytelling". Wide games, but incredibly shallow.
comment in response to
post
Accurate, I can forgive games with mediocre combat as long as it isn't too agonizing and the story is coherent. Memorable and highly relatable characters always help with that emotional attachment too.
comment in response to

True, however it's also important to note that not all experiences are useful and a lot of people regress instead of improving.

I always knew since I was a kid that nobody magically grew up into a different personality at 18 and oh boy it's always been correct. Some people are eternally stuck in the high school mentality where you can be toxic af to other people with no consequences.

The physical strength objectification is literally sex appeal for a lot of people. And you should be against both forms of objectification here, the only reason you're not is blatant double-standards rooted in sexism.
comment in response to
post
You might want to try to be a little less sexist before you try to debate these topics.
comment in response to
post
Again missing the point because not all men want buff meatheads with no value other than to be objectified for their physical strength. People want nuanced and balanced male characters as well as female ones. Your logic is also flawed because you assume the intent of the developers of every game.
comment in response to
post
Me calling out your flawed logic =/= doing the same thing you're doing. I'm not really sure what type of debating you're used to but you need to realize that men aren't some monolith where only one body type appeals to them and any male sexuality is somehow a male power fantasy for all men.
comment in response to
post
It's really not, by the same logic a beautiful woman in games would be made solely to appeal to other women. Only interpreting sexuality in video games a single way is about as incorrect as you can get on human sexuality as a whole.
comment in response to
post
It's just more socially acceptable to have a double-standard where men are readily viewed in a sexual light but when a woman is it's somehow wrong or inappropriate. I'm sure at least some of it societally is due to religious influences, but men and women are fairly equally sexualized here.
comment in response to
post
Male characters are absolutely sexualized, you haven't seen the tons of women who drool over shirtless and barely-clothed men in movies? Gay guys too of course, but acting like there's nothing being sexualized especially when there's tons of roided out buff men people obsess over is disingenuous.
comment in response to
post
You shouldn't need justification to create an appealing character regardless of gender. People only cry about naked or nearly naked Women when it's literally always done to guys too with little to no controversy. No double-standards are okay imo

If they're actually your friends they'd be upset you disappeared. If you don't talk often though it's natural they might make assumptions you were busy or something though for a while at least. You seem nice enough, though I don't know you personally so don't be too hard on yourself.

True, but I try to stay positive despite how bad things get. Just kind of have to keep moving on until you get a lucky break or think of some course of action that leads you to someone or something that makes life worth living.

Relationships are tough, especially being autistic and disabled on my end, I've never had a functional one. But it's nice to be alone too, finding the perfect partner for you is never easy and some people just get lucky tbh.
