When it's all going to hell, I'm not going to share my safe space with any Trump voters.

Is it really a deal when you're under threat have your communications cut off and military support ended? This is disgusting.

Considering what the cost of the house I used to rent there likely is now, they already have.

I used to live up in those hills a little south of there in San Leandro. God, I miss sitting out on the deck and watching that sunset.

Zekensky wants Russia to leave his fucking country. Who benefits the most? Ukrainians.

No country should rely on starlink for anything involving security or national interest.

For this guy:
"Caine recently became a venture partner at Shield Capital, a venture capital firm, which touted his experience as an entrepreneur who “co-founded and successfully exited multiple aerospace, defense, and healthcare companies”.
No conflict of interest here.

Oh, he's definitely significantly deteriorated. No question. But this thing with Putin, he knows exactly what game he's playing there.

Huh.

Because that isn't dementia, it's cowardice and greed.

This is what you call a negotiation? Give Russia what they want, give us what we want, and fuck off and don't bother us again? That's what you call diplomatic negotiations? What an embarrassment for you.

Republicans never even wanted to sign legislation for health care for 9/11 responders. Every time it's come up Democrats have had to publicly bludgeon them into voting yes. Yet somehow, despite all this history, MAGA thought Trump and his cadre of cowards wasn't going to do this?

Why doesn't he just get down on his knees and open his mouth. For crying out loud.

And every state who he threatens their federal funding, they should laugh and say well you're not going to get any funding from us so there will be nothing for you to give.

When they have the power, they get far more done for the people than Republicans. They've never had the cohesion in messaging that we need, that doesn't mean they're the same as fucking Republicans.

Education is overrated when you have people like Trump and Elon to think for you.

If they can afford $5,000 now, they can afford $5,000 every year. I hate this trend started by Bush to buy off the American people.

Please tell me I'm not reading this. Please tell me are minority house leader isn't on a book tour while the country fucking burns to the ground. Please don't disappoint me like this.

I understand how difficult it is for everyone to accept where we are. No one wants to do that. But we don't have a choice. Sitting here in disbelief is only allowing them to drag us down further.

The audacity of Republicans telling us we have to cut 30% of everything to sustain social security and Medicare even while telling us they're going to pass a 4 trillion dollar tax package for the wealthy. The real reason we can't have anything is because Republicans keep giving it to the rich.

People are now finally figuring out that when Elon said free speech, he meant approved speech.

I often wondered how many of those idiots carried around those little pocket constitutions and never even tried to read them.

Strict constitutionalism was just another Republican lie along with being the party of fiscal responsibility, family values, or national security. We have fallen for every one of their lies for the last 50 years.

Maybe it's time to stop underestimating just how vile Republicans are.

When this fails....Hitler ordered the creation of the People's Court in 1934. It became part of the Nazi system of terror, condemning tens of thousands of people as "Volk Vermin" and thousands more to death for "Volk Treason."

So now we're likely paying for Elon Musk's private security. Brilliant.

I don't think we're as far away from that option as we would like to be. The unfortunate reality this time is it the wrong side holds the military right now. We don't know what direction that will break in.

People need to pare their budgets down to the bare minimum and stop spending. Let consumer confidence plummet, that will definitely panic corporations. A healthy capitalist economy runs on our disposable income. Just start saving it instead of spending it.

There are a growing number of options out there. Elon has been selling what is mostly the same car for years now because he hasn't had to compete with anybody. Now add the swastikar label, and people are moving on quickly.

Like I said, they will likely retire him out with grace, a gold foil crown, rolling him out as a hero in a wheelchair if they have to as he drools all over himself for years to come. They won't impeach, they're incapable between their own self-interests and fear. We need to kneecap the entire party.

Rural folks, seniors, and poor people who can't take a half day off to go into an office. That is exactly the hope, that these people will not pursue these same services in person thereby saving more money.

I don't know, the GOP propaganda machine is pretty fucking awe-inspiring. There's always a way to spin it and retire him in grace. Which is what the Republicans would probably do before they ever impeach him. Which means they can prep a successor.
