Wow, thank you. The delaying of elections and ignoring Supreme Court rulings.

Could you cite where these are located in the bill- pg no? I just want to show my maga family from the pages of the bill? I do not have time to skim the 1100 pg bill.

I figure MAGA will not change, heck my dad will not change. But seems we have to try, otherwise the answer is no change. I have to assume this is how those who fought for civil rights felt- hopeless. But they faced greater odds than me a white farmer.

To expect things to change by doing nothing is a fools choice. To plant a mustard seed is a start. Jess Piper is working everyday for change of mind.

But does there? Who has been won over by revenge and a smug attitude? Certainly none of my children, or any HS students I have ever taught. Logical consequence will happen. I want a way forward to a blue vote without blue smugness.Dems must reach rural voters.I need a dem candidate to vote for in KS

I am a farmer. I voted for Harris. To become stronger we must welcome Trump voters to leave the cult. As much as I want a ā€œtold you soā€, changing votes from red to blue is the answer.

Canada and Mexico are the two top counties that import our wheat. Canada 32.9 million dollars from the US in ā€˜24. They will get their wheat elsewhere. I would not blame the Prime Minister for turning his back on our grains. I am a farmer who voted for Harris; I live in Trumps stupid tariffs world.

Thank you. I never voted for him. I was out when he insulted a disabled journalist and grab by the p&$$y. I have never understood the power of Trump. I actually felt sick leading up to the elections. I hope to keep our business, and pay bills. The real test will be when the fall crops are harvested.

However, for the soybean farmers like me who never voted for Trump will sink along with him. *%ck Trump. And if a farmer shifts from Trump I will welcome them.

Thanks for writing all this in a concise list.

I even taught this book to students and felt the same! Every year I wanted to find redemption in someone-anyone. To no avail. Truly, rich people with no souls.

No disagreement here. But by the time we change course and the world trusts us again,I have my doubts that I will be alive to see it. I am talking about 20 years from now.

I have also one to this realization. My belief in the USA democracy is gone. I miss that belief.

I really fear they will not observe the rule of Law And then what? Trump has never been held accountable. He will be our dictator. And make fun of us while ruling.

You have nailed my dad’s And my relationship. (Mother passed away 24 years ago). We avoid politics, but it is sometimes unavoidable. He wants to talk politics and I am trying to hold onto my husband’s and my family farm with fewer world markets now. He watches FOX yet I am living the demise of ag.

I am going to add this. tRump’s tariffs on exported grains will cause some, many farmers to sell land to get out of debt. Vance and the billionaires supporting him will swoop in and buy this land cheap. Please prove me wrong. %*ck Trump

Today Wheat down 15 cents and soybeans down 33 cents at our local Coop. Paying fertilizer and seed bills will be anxiety ridden.

So for the farmers that voted against Trump? Farmer here and I can actually use the word hate for him. Did not vote Trump and read 2025. We are sliding fast into debt bc the gov controls our markets. I was hated by the Rep when I was a school teacher and now hated by Dem bc we farm.
comment in response to post
China has spent the last 4 years navigating a source for grains in case we elected Trump again. We did. Now they have their supply chain in place. They are not reliant on the USA for soybeans.
comment in response to post
Such a shit show! And suffering seems to be the point for these tariffs.

Appreciate a legal view.
comment in response to post
Farmer here and what bullshit from him. A farm is a business that depends on the markets. We sell for whatever the coops are offering. Now that trump has pissed off all the countries, there is a very small market. PS I read 2025. So now my income will plummet and people hate me. *#ck Trump.

Yes, let’s see Dems come flip votes in KS. There are so many angry voters at the current situation. Many angry voices at Senator Marshall.
comment in response to post
My gosh, when will the Dems learn. They decided we were not worth going after us and allowed the Republicans to take over the rural vote. Throw us away and then complain about us. Stand up for us!
comment in response to post
This. Dems take their case to the people. Do not give away the people’s power to Trump. Many Kansans are angry. Weird for KS.

Yes , find someone. Anyone.
