That's me, in a nut tree, err, nutshell. They put dates on those seeds just to screw with us!

We used to call that peninsula the "Sleeping Dragon" when I lived there (Playa de la Ropa). The lighthouse, which we hiked to a few times, was the "Dragon's eye"! Many happy memories!

One fruit salad tree per citizen and free edible/medicinal perennial seeds for all.
When you give away perennials to the people who want them, those people will volunteer their time and energy being tree nannies!!!

Good question. I had written a large number (160+) of essays on a peer review site called Everything2.com. When ChatGPT came out, I experimented with writing collaboratively and realized that a novel would be much more achievable using the chatbot as a sounding board/beta reader.

Yeah, the established lore for centuries was “the Amazon is inhospitable to agriculture, except for all this excellent terra prieta we keep finding there, but there’s no need to wonder where that came from”. Turns out it was from centuries of indigenous agriculture!
