yeah no this makes sense. i released the 2nd part of my book + my 3rd album around the same time (2022-23) and neither got much attention; recently someone who owns my first 2 albums finally bought the 3rd and i was like oh of course, they just needed a couple years to catch up. me too

i had people tell me they usually dont have the attention span for books but found it easy, i assume it was partly my writing style but also the sequential presentation of paragraphs + dynamic visuals. i think theres value in that, even if "book" sounds more impressive & desirable to everyone else
