Can't really say Make America 1984 "again" so I guess it would have to be "Make America 1984" Unless of course you're talking about a return to McCarthyism Imagine a world where politicians ask actors to spy on each other. That won't happen these days......

Isn't this how McCarthyism got started?

When I see an actor or actress that looks familiar I'll go to their IMDB and inevitably the answer is "oh yeah- they were on that episode of L&O"

Since it will be less than 2 years remaining on the term, Vance will be eligible for 2 full terms after that. If he can get re-elected 2x that will give him a full 10 years in office.

I don't think the 2 are mutually exclusive.

N (but not good either. I didn't think he would be good even at the time of his election but he wasn't the orange guy) Y (effective communicator & leader- I didn't always agree with him but I believed he did what he thought was best for the country) N (always seemed like he was in over his head)

<sarcasm>That can't be right....I distinctly remember him saying he was going to cut my taxes. </sarcasm> I think a lot of people assumed when he said he was going to cut taxes that he meant their taxes and they weren't listening to what he was actually saying.

Today’s Republican Party: we’ll force you to have kids but we won’t force you to vaccinate them.

<sarcasm>Vaccines are unnecessary- herd immunity will protect you.</sarcasm> (Sarcasm note because tone can be so hard to pick up on in online discourse).

Question: Should there be an adjustment to the luxury tax formula to account for large, backloaded contracts?

I plan to use this graphic in my intro bio class; if someone knows off-hand where I can find a complimentary mortality graphic it would save me a lot of time trying to one hunt down (or even more time if I make my own). This is a great example of the power of data visualization. TIA

Can you imagine a world where insurance companies start denying payment for vaccines since they are no longer mandatory? Not covering vaccines for travel lays a precedent for it. Can state health depts require vaccines? Can they require insurance companies to pay for them?
