The problem with saying you’ll restart the important parts later is they’re all important parts now, and have been. I’m not sure why this isn’t understood but it could have something to do with the slanderous broadsides leveled against institutions & public servants for ≈ 50 years or so

So far, the ✌️reforms✌️ of this administration are nearly universally helpful to corrupt and malign actors, the people who at the most basic level laws are meant to constrain. It’s not a surgical approach. The ratio of babies:bathwater approaches 1:1. Many will hurt; it won’t be stopped or get fixed.
