Ness would immediately try to get a grasp on his new surroundings and notice the fighter before him. Certainly not the strangest encounter he's had, but it was still rather unexpected.
Now his next thought was anticipating what the other may or may not do and how he could react,

Waiting for the first fight to ineviteably happen, made a feeling of anxious anticipation grow from within; Ness thinking about what he would do upon having to fight someone and...who would he even be fighting?

He said, awfully optimistic, "I don't think I'm going anywhere unless something happens to me. I wouldn't leave on purpose." He chuckled lightly to himself. Bit of foreshadowing that he had yet to know anything about.

Ness shook his head 'no', "Don't worry about it! You don't annoy me!" Even if he may have come off that way in the past, with his silent, surprised 'responses' to Porky's questions... At least, while he was influenced by Gyiyg.

Awakening in a new place, the boy would look around a bit frantically, confused as ever. This certainly wasn't where he was headed to, right?

...Though, upon setting foot outside, and after a few steps, something strange felt like it was about to happen. Looking up for moments, as the feeling drove him to, Ness felt a light too bright to be just the sun hitting his face.
Ah. Before he could realise, he had disappeared from his world.

"That makes me happy!" Maybe off and on he would have questioned that because of how Porky sometimes acted in the past- but it was from outside influence and Ness knew this.
Beneath that, Porky was a good friend.
"I think.. I feel the same to you. I worry about you a lot, you know?"
