Yeah I was worried about this getting a lot lot worse. We know how they feel about the murders, it’s still better if they stick to platitudes they don’t mean

And hey there you go, assumption correct

Apart from all the other reasons this sentiment sucks, it also demonstrates (morbidly) a lack of imagination, a failure to see the victims as anything but the role they play on the news. These are whole people with whole lives

In a lot of cases the reasonable assumptions will end up being right. Social media feeds, for whatever reason, push us all toward feeling like we have to have the the *fastest* correct reaction. There are people working on finding the truth. Let them work

This is a difficult one given his husband’s facebook post but the Jonathan Joss shooting was another case where the info spreading online in the immediate aftermath was very questionable and people were acting like the media was covering up the story. It’s okay to let the facts develop a bit

I feel like I’m too tense in the thumb when I start. Maybe I should try starting from away and hit the button with the pad instead of the tip. Advice appreciated, this is really dragging down my quality of life

(before anyone says Israel has nukes but doesn’t acknowledge it, please ask yourself how and why we know Israel has nukes despite the fact that they don’t acknowledge it, and consider whether these circumstances also apply to Iran)

It’s not the dumbest post I’ve ever seen (indeed, war with Iran would probably not be a walk in the park) but the gap between the intelligence they thought they were projecting vs the intelligence actually revealed… yikes

I agree but its superiority seems to come from cutting the clutter that Google intentionally loads into your results, not because it’s actually better at combing through the internet than Google is

Having a 36-hour-old baby is the funniest reminder that we are just hairless apes with delusions of grandeur. This is clearly a monkey

You can’t even search “Big Ten” on this site looking for college football news, turns out there are a lot of fellas on here who are very proud of themselves

Picturing Monty trying to enjoy a puzzle over tea to get away from it all, only to freak the fuck out seeing Omaha after Utah, Gold, Sword, and Juno had all shown up in the preceding weeks

It’s a loosely threaded sequence of jokes, most of which work, on balance. Bit of a mess. My only real gripe is that the theater air conditioning was a little weak, but that’s not Wes Anderson’s fault
