PMs have a career of about 10 years before cracks in their leadership tend to show. Trudeau did a good job but had his share of problems as the face of unpopular, but needed policies. Brian Mulroney’s catastrophic career end is an example of what happens here if you stay too long as PM.

It will be very interesting to see how this and Trump is viewed by the American people in even a few months. The next Republican moves will be interesting to follow as well

Technically it's the opposite of short selling, as it's reselling an asset because of an increased value on a different market (arbitrage). But yeah, short selling is kind of an awful practice that works contrary to a healthy market and is more possible than reselling your new car. 🫠

They can be and they're common in car sales contracts from Ford to Ferrari. But usually they're for a shorter time period. It's to keep buyers from reselling to exploit/undercut different values in different markets, e.g. to a country where vehicle is less available/more expensive.

I agree and the problem seems obvious, I wish there were a clearer solution. Keep doing great work, though

I think it’s telling that Shaw’s AD is from the UK and the AAD, though mostly Canadian educated, has significant experience abroad, all while doing a majority of early-mid century work from UK/US (Dickens, Porter, Berlin). Doubt Shaw cares and will find talent elsewhere. New work/talent is a gamble

You're not wrong, I just don't think they'll care until the UK/US talent pools they've been tapping find themselves in the same situation. New art is necessary and what you and Adam do is brave/vital, but new art is a gamble, which sucks. It's hitting everything I love right now and I wish it wasn't
