I want to believe the niceness of the dems. I really do. That’s why I keep voting blue. Here in Wisconsin we call it Midwest Nice. In the South, it’s basically the same as “well bless your heart.” I’m a hopeful cynic. I truly believe that humans are inherently good. But greed and fear are powerful.
