I think the gov't realized they overplayed their hand. It was barely down for 12 hours? Meanwhile, in those dark hours Facebook lost global users by the thousands as they flocked to Rednote. That — and they realized nobody would be around to watch the bread and circuses tomorrow.

They've added a translation feature, and it is amazing and easy to use. The people have also been incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly suggest trying it.
